The objective of this project has been the development of a new water-based coating for wood with high technical performance, capable of meeting all regulatory and market requirements, for use in public places.
As a result, a transparent water-based finishing process for wood has been developed, suitable for wall and floor coverings indoors, but also with fireproof and bactericidal properties, which meets the aesthetic, technical and legislative demands for use in places of public use.
During the execution of the project, AIDIMME’s laboratories have been used for the verification tests of technical, fireproof and bactericidal properties.
This project has been carried out within the IVACE programme INNOVATION PROJECTS FOR SMEs (INNOVA-CV), with the action being co-financed by the European Union through the Valencian Community ERDF Operational Programme 2014-2020.
