Fluorescent RAL colors: maximum visibility and energy for every surface

RAL fluorescent colors are much more than just an aesthetic option. They are shades with high visibility, designed to stand out in normal light and ultraviolet light, achieving a bright and shiny effect that immediately attracts attention. Due to their intensity, these colours are often used in warning signs, emergency vehicles, road safety equipment or promotional projects, where visibility is crucial.

RAL fluorescent colors are much more than just an aesthetic choice. They are high-visibility shades designed to stand out under normal and ultraviolet light, achieving that bright, glowing effect that instantly catches the eye.

Due to their intensity, these colors are commonly used in warning signs, emergency vehicles, road safety equipment, and promotional materials where visibility is crucial.

Superior fluorescence

Fluorescent colors differ from standard RAL colors, offering superior contrast and enhanced visibility, even in low-light or adverse weather conditions. This ability to shine, i.e. high visibility, makes it an essential tool in industrial, safety and design applications.

What distinguishes them from standard RAL colour?

Within the RAL Classic system, there are six shades specially formulated to achieve maximum brightness and visual effect:

  • RAL 1026 Luminous Yellow → intense neon yellow, widely used in vests and emergency signage.
  • RAL 2005 Luminous Orange → vibrant color with high contrast, ideal for safety and warnings.
  • RAL 2007 Bright Luminous Orange → lighter and more striking shade, perfect for promotional purposes.
  • RAL 3024 Bright Red → intense fluorescent red, widely used in emergency vehicles and signage.
  • RAL 3026 Bright Luminous Red → even brighter red, with a neon effect, ideal for urgent warning indicators.
  • RAL 6038 Luminous Green → high-visibility green, used in both modern decoration and technical signage.

Durability and professional formulation

Despite their visual impact, fluorescent pigments are less stable than conventional colors when exposed to UV radiation. For this reason, at Iris Chemical Industries, we offer these shades as transparent epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coatings, guaranteeing the best possible durability and adhesion without compromising color intensity. We do not work with 100% polyester coatings for this range, as fluorescent pigments can lose their brightness with prolonged exposure to sunlight.

We currently offer the colors RAL 1026 Bright Yellow and RAL 6038 Bright Green, formulated to provide maximum visibility, performance and protection.

RAL fluorescent colors bring safety, design and personality to any surface. At Industrias Químicas Iris, we combine chemical technology and color precision so that each project shines with its own light. Please do not hesitate to write to us at: industrias@quimicasiris.com.
